The Founding Fathers believe in the authority of Scripture.

Much of their political writings were base on Biblical views – specifically from Locke’s “Second Treatise of Government.”

That book quoted/referenced the Bible over 1500 times.

For people to seek a political solution (including “America First”) without building on a foundation of God’s word – the Bible – then their ideas suck.

You dont get the United States of America without a humble return to the word of God.

The Founders understood Man was sinful.

The Founders looked to Jesus Christ (as believers or deists) and saw His example and the Bible as the truth.

If you “America First” without seeing Man as sinful, then you’re not building on the same foundation as the Founders.

Government is limited bc Man was seen as sinful.

Our enemy is not flesh and blood.

It’s spiritual. It’s sin.

The Founders were able to shoot the Redcoats bc the Redcoats were people.

Today, shooting the people we disagree with don’t win independence like the Founders shooting Redcoats.

Our enemy has built and deployed systems of control that arent seen through a rifle’s sights.

The Bible tells you how to think right.

The gospel equips you to war right.

Amen.

Dad finished chemo today.

Please pray for him. We are asking for, “Mr Jackson, we see no signs of cancer.”

God can dk whatever He wants & that’s my prayer – His will be done.

Yes, I acknowledge alternatives medications and ways of treating cancer. At this point, Dad’s decision of treatment just completed.

I’m asking for this course of action to result in mission accomplished.

He feels good, not weak or gaunt or pallid. He’s driving to work and being productive despite treatment. Peach fuzz hair.

Dad just ended the family text with:

“Until then, it’s still faith. And war.”
