So sad to learn that Ivana Trump has passed. Hearing the news this afternoon brings me back to the day I met her.
Ivana was the invited guest speaker at a Melbourne FL Women’s Center fundraiser held some years ago. A gracious and beautifully appointed woman, she spoke from the stage with confidence and warmth.
Prior to her speech, she chatted with and posed for photos. A pic of us together was sent to me from a friend’s photo album that I posted on my Facebook page (long since canceled), thus I no longer have it.
But what I take away from that day was how lovely Ivana was, both inside and out.
My sympathy lies with Don Jr., Eric, Ivanka and the grandchildren she leaves behind, including Pres. Trump and those who loved her and will miss her presence.
