Fears of Child Trafficking grow in Turkey

Disasters like Turkey’s earthquake are primo opportunities for traffickers to (1) disguise themselves as NGOs, missionaries, gov’t officials, or even a child’s parents and (2) walk off with unaccompanied children and even infants in the middle of the chaos.

Fears of Child Trafficking in Turkey Grow as Earthquake Leaves Scores of Orphans

A Turkish organization filed a complaint in the name of orphans and lost children it claimed have been victims of human trafficking.
