Exactly, it all goes back to 1913
That was the beginning, wasn’t it… oh the mistakes our presidents and others have made over the decades, and yet still we stand. Hobbled, bruised and uneasy, but here we stand like a tattered flag.
I would put it even before 1913. Because there had to have been a setup to get us into the position we were in to have to even contemplate needing to do the Federal Reserve. Financing the Spanish American War, making a bank crash or two, sinking the Titanic, etc.
Communism goes back to the late 1800’s, but even before that there were our revolution and the French one, Napoleon, and the Russian one, and it was all based on populism. Populism is great, it leaves more for us little guys, weird fact the elites were often actually trying to do reform to make the plebs more equitable and comfortable but got overrun anyway.
There are elites, plebes, and investors/opportunists in this society. Opportunists like there to be turmoil so they can turn a profit. More churn, more turn. Outside the loyalties of the system, they just use it. The populist movement has been their field troops and cats paws for centuries now.
How to get out of this? Never borrow money at interest. Never borrow institutionally. Stay out of banks except for the bare minimum checking account you need to get by to get paid and pay bills. Sweep any extra out. Don’t own stocks. Keep the bulk of your wealth in land you own free and clear or in firearms, antiques and stuff you can sell or barter. Do your business in cash as much as possible. Keep extra cash and PM’s in safes and caches, this is both for emergency money and the inheritances you will pass down. Raise your own food as best you can to the degree you can. Keep your kids out of government school. Stay healthy, don’t drink or smoke, and don’t just sit on your duff but walk to do your errands.
Have as little to do with those investors and opportunists as possible. Arrange your affairs to pay as little taxes as you can legally. Don’t let anyone tell you you have a duty to pay for freeloaders.
