These six witnesses are about to cause Merrick Garland a world of hurt

Attorney General Merrick Garland is under fire for approving the sweetheart plea deal to protect Hunter Biden.
Now that scandal just exploded.
And these six witnesses are about to cause Merrick Garland a world of hurt.
IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley testified about an October 7, 2022 meeting where U.S. Attorney David Weiss admitted he did not have the final say on criminal charges against Hunter Biden as the Biden Justice Department blocked his attempt to indict Hunter Biden for felony tax evasion.
A statement from Shapley’s legal team listed the witnesses as Baltimore FBI Special Agent in Charge Tom Sobocinski and Assistant Special Agent in Charge Ryeshia Holley, IRS Assistant Special Agent in Charge Gary Shapley and Special Agent in Charge Darrell Waldon.
The statement for Shapley’s lawyers said the witnesses confirmed Shapley’s account of the meeting where Weiss admitted the Biden Justice Department meddled in the Hunter Biden investigation in a contemporaneous email chain.
Shapley’s testimony contradicted that of Attorney Merrick Garland who claimed under oath and penalty of perjury that Weiss had the ultimate charging authority.
“He is the supervisor of this investigation,” Garland testified adding that “we put the investigation in the hands of a Trump appointee from the previous administration, who is the US attorney for the district of Delaware, and . . . you have me as the Attorney General, who is committed to the independence of the Justice Department from any influence from the White House in criminal matters.”
Shapley’s testimony and revelation that he had six corroborating witnesses also undercut a June 7 letter from Weiss to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan that the charging decisions in the Hunter Biden investigation was up to him.
“Its content suggests your inquiry is related to an investigation in my District, If my assumption is correct, I want to make clear that, as the Attorney General has stated, I have been granted ultimate authority over this matter, including responsibility for deciding where, when, and whether to file charges and for making decisions necessary to preserve the integrity of the prosecution, consistent with federal law, the Principles of Federal Prosecution, and Departmental regulations,” Weiss wrote.
Someone is clearly lying.
Shapley has no motivation to deceive Congress and the history of Garland’s tenure leading the Justice Department where a weaponized FBI targeted Pro-Life activists, parents protesting Critical Race Theory at school board meetings, and Catholics who attend Latin mass do not give Garland the benefit of the doubt.
House Speaker Kevin McCarty announced he supports opening an impeachment inquiry into Garland.
And the witnesses backing up Shapley’s testimony that Garland interfered in the decision to charge Hunter Biden will form the basis for articles of impeachment.
