Post Labor Day, the beach is ours again. From Memorial Day thru Labor Day, we welcome sharing it with hundreds of vacationing coconut-scented, sun-screened, towel-toting families with their colorful beach umbrellas, but…

… the peaceful calm is back, and anyone burying feet in the sand are locals, our neighbors.
Though we will be happy to occasionally share it with visitors when the rockets soar from the nearby rocket ranch on the Cape, this part of our barrier island sanctuary belongs to us again, for which we are selfishly grateful.
