Jordan urges supporters to back Scalise for speaker as House goes into recess
Some Republicans, including Reps. Chip Roy and Marjorie Taylor Greene, have said they will not vote for Scalise
Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, is urging his supporters to back House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La., for speaker, a source with direct knowledge told Fox News Digital.
Republicans chose Scalise as their candidate over Jordan earlier Wednesday. The vote was by secret ballot. Scalise won 113 votes, Jordan won 99.

“Honestly, no matter who is voted to be Speaker OR even if it’s McHenry as Pro Tempore for an extended period of time, I like the battle we are seeing play out in the House and think it’s good for the country.”
There isn’t *anyone* in the House who I want to see as Speaker. RINOs excluded the *ony* representative who has shown they are motivated and *actually* walks their talk is Comer. All of the rest talk tough but don’t seem committed to walk the walk. Talk is cheap.
Jordan is a perfect example. So is Rand Paul. They’ve been skilled actors grilling suspects … and don’t follow through with the necessary steps with recommendations to the DOJ (even though the Dept. of Injustice wouldn’t do anything with it) for an indictment.
The point is they have nothing invested except the time of writing their notes. That’s all. And they’re *all* the same blow-hards. They have achieved getting elected and unless they somehow get removed they are set for life with their ‘Golden Parachute’. There are too many who hide, one way or another (like going home and not being present for work in the House — how many videos are on the interwebz where someone is giving a speech and all of the seats are empty?)
Scalise? Nope. Jordan? Nope.
Trump? Oh hell to the YEAH.
He would be able to get a ton of accomplishments completed that didn’t require a Presidential signature and get a bunch of issues and problems taken care of so that when he’s reelected he could focus on the bigger issues.
AND … I doubt he would be letting the House Reps leave until *all* of the pending legislation that needed to be completed was done … unlike McCarthy (and many before him).
PLUS — and that’s a HUGE PLUS — the DemonRats and the emotionally fragile libturd cabal slaves would *definitely* get their panties in a bunch. THAT would be worth it’s weight in gold.
Can you imagine them losing it if our President yielded the gavel wearing his MAGA hat?
