The NYT opinion piece, “Mandate for Leadership,” is certainly an interesting approach to governing. There is a lot of information to digest. No doubt, the DC establishment has incrementally dismantled our rights and freedoms as American citizens for their own personal gain for many years, to the point we wonder, “how much of our Constitutional rights are still in tact.”
I believe Trump clearly understands the dynamics of Washington, and he is ready for the fight. No doubt, the layers of bureaucracy run deep and must be dismantled and eliminated immediately.
Career government politicians, along with the dead weight personnel, must go!
As for the guidebook, Americans are not looking for totalitarian ideology. However, in order to clean this decades old mess up, some drastic measures are necessary, and that may be a hard pill to swallow.
As long as the rights of Americans and the rule of law are always observed, I believe we as a nation are ready for positive change and clearly understand that some difficulties are ahead of us.
We do not need to embrace the deep state but route out this cancer for the long term.
