Did you remember to move your clocks ahead an hour?
I love Daylight Savings Time. Our US Senator Rick Scott has submitted a bill to make it permanent here in Florida. Fine by me!

I purchased this painting many years ago at a benefit auction. It hung over the fireplace mantle until recently. It’s a beautiful scene, don’t you agree? Painted by local artist Deborah M. Kelly, it now hangs on a wall directly across from my easy chair, where I can more closely admire it.
My home features quite a bit of art… some of it framed prints, others paintings of my own creation, and my little beach house is feeling more and more like a gallery! If you would you like to see more of my wall art, let me know in the comments.
Happy Sunday! Enjoy that “extra hour” of daylight. It means summer is just around the corner!
Below: Evening at the beach with friends, enjoying the incoming tide and the play of a setting sun on clouds at end of day.

Yes, please do. I admire all art. My daughter graduated from Mass Art in Boston.
Lovely painting. Some high snow drifts by the fence.
OH my mistake. It’s SAND. 🙂
It’s nice living in Florida isn’t it. And I hope Sen Scott’s bill get’s passed.
Love the painting, more please. I loved visiting Florida in the early 60’s, such a great place then. Still lots of open spaces. Daytona Beach was an awesome place with a sleepy little town, a great beach for racing and the coolest pier with an awesome party place for dancing at the very end, out over the water.
Good for Scott. If anyone running for a government position wants to win, he should run on never changing our clocks again. My hero. I have lived in both kinds of states and one time forever is a win.,
As usual a great look at the Canaveral coast. Thank you.
