My longtime radio show producer and very special friend Dave “Thirdwavedave” Logan succumbed in 2012 to Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia. I still miss him and what we accomplished together in the early days of my radio career.

His sense of humor, his sharp wit, his brilliance, and his deep love for our country along with those who protect it. I was with him every day, though we were 3,000 miles apart (he in California, me in Florida), planning the shows, booking the guests, making headway before the current army of podcasters came along. All the while he fought the awful disease, soldiering on till the end. Staying alive until he couldn’t.
I posted this video for him some years ago, and came across it this evening. It made me smile and lifted his spirits. Maybe you might enjoy watching it too.
“Staying Alive.” It will make you feel like dancing!
Because Dave loved old movies… this one’s for you Dave.

Sigh Swingin’ with Fred. Those were the days. It’s likely Dave is smilin’.
At least then the sick psychopaths mostly stayed in the sewers and shadows, not strutting out in their perversion in broad daylight.
Those were the days. Thank you Dave and you for being the guiding light through those difficult times. The Birther Conspiracy that like almost all conspiracy prove to be true. My coffee shop friends still live in their bubble. You have reached so many and awaken their slumber. You and Thrdwave Dave. Thank you
God gives us memories, and may those memories of your friend, Dave, keep you smiling! Such a classy video to be shared in his memory! Those WERE the good days.
