THE following essay by Paul Fleuret (aka Absolute1776, host of Badlands Media “Eye of the Storm”) pretty much sums it up as far as I’m concerned. Thank you Abs1776 for putting it so succinctly. We ARE moving forward with determination, come what may.
I’ll make this pretty simple.
And perhaps I say the following as much for myself as I do for anyone else.
We are ALL hurting. We are ALL weary. We are ALL exhausted. We are ALL on fumes.
Thing is: We. Are. At. War.
It is not hyperbole – None of us are out here frolicking through the fields like Laura f**king Ingalls.
Seeing as how we are at war – I suggest we all act like it.
Thicken our skin, bury our heads, and march the f**k forward. No matter what. DO NOT GIVE UP. KEEP. MOVING. FORWARD.
We cannot let emotions dictate our course of action. We cannot let emotions dictate our will to fight or our conviction to uncover the truth.
I assure you – we will all have time to grieve, mourn, or otherwise break the f**k down or ride off into the sunset when all of this is over.
Until then, stand up, man up, and get shit done.
If your feelings can’t handle that – do the rest of us a favor and get out of the foxhole.
