As election day approaches, Barack Obama gave a speech earlier today reminding African-Americans that they have to vote for Kamala Harris, sources confirm.
“Frankly, I’m surprised we have to have this conversation,” said Obama, the 44th President of the United States. “You have a duty to your race and country to blindly vote for the person that looks like you, okay? And if you’re on the fence, just listen to me, a famous and wise black guy. You have to listen to me! Oh, and women, too. Women, you have to vote for Kamala. Sorry. I don’t make the rules.”
Many in attendance were confused by Obama’s orders to support Harris blindly.
“I get that blacks tend to skew Democratic, but I think it’s a little insulting just to say we have to vote for the black person no matter what,” said Andre Williams. “Is that what he said about revoking my minority status next year if I can’t prove I voted for Kamala? That’s bullshit, right? He can’t really do that, right?”
As of press time, Obama did a mic drop at the end of his speech that didn’t look as cool as he thought it would in his head.
