My take on Nesheiwat for Surgeon General

First, I want to thank anoldpieceofleather for his opinion pieces “Triggered 1” and “Triggered Part 2.“

Now it’s my turn…

I did a search of Nesheiwat’s twitter account. She has deleted everything and anything she posted prior to March 2022. So the earlier one you saw posted on Mr. Leather’s piece dated January 2022 was salvaged/grabbed by someone who knows how to search X’s voluminous history.

STRIKE 1.

In reviewing most of her twitter X posts, I got a strong sense that she’s been more involved in creating a brand, her brand, rather than practicing medicine. Seems as though she’s a glamour girl posing as a physician. She may have graduated medical school and carries a “Dr.” in front of her name, but anyone as self-absorbed as she appears to be by posting several times a day marketing herself on social media with what appear to be professionally staged photos, (expertly made up complete with made for TV false eyelashes, freshly curled and bouncy mane of hair, bedsheet white teeth…) could she be chasing fame and fortune?

Whatever she now says, it is contrary to her statements about Covid, the Vax, Masks, Social distancing, etc. etc. etc. The woman obviously went along with the globalist crowd instead of researching information being put out there by her peers, including and especially the Frontline Doctors, Naomi Wolf, as well as many MANY others. (Snark) ->Too much time in the makeup chair at Fox? What else has she gotten so wrong? Would you seek her medical advice and treatment if you had an ailment?

STRIKE 2

In other words, this professional posing in a lab coat with a stethoscope artfully draped around her neck in almost every other tweet she — or her PR/Branding/Marketing firm — publishes, isn’t fooling those who are paying attention. Pretty evident she hasn’t done her medical homework. Maybe she never does, or only enough to sound credible while on Fox Thus she doesn’t merit (there’s that word) her “M.D.” much less her ascension to be our country’s top doc. Who can trust her? Who will trust her?

What is Trump thinking? Good question.

Could it be because her brother is Mike Walz, newly named by Trump to be his National Security Advisor? I dunno…

A favor? A deal? A compromise? A five step ahead chess move? I don’t know. But the doubts and questions this nomination raises among many of us is STRIKE 3.

On Friday, President-elect Donald Trump tapped emergency room physician Dr. Janette Nesheiwat for US surgeon general. 

The appointment raised concerns among many Republicans, who pointed out that Nesheiwat strongly pushed the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines during the pandemic. Referring to the vaccines as “a gift from God” that is “nothing short of miraculous,” she repeatedly urged Americans to take the injections.

In April 2021, Nesheiwat downplayed adverse events from the vaccines despite the absence of long-term data and parrotted the government talking point that “the benefits outweigh the risks.”

Nesheiwat also falsely claimed the vaccine stopped transmission of the virus. Although the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) only admitted this was false in late July 2021, Nesheiwat could not have made that claim based on scientific data.
