Are you fucking kidding me? I knew this would happen. I said this when I was speaking to someone on active duty that there was no way this was going to go down as advertised. Y’all have no idea how fucking vindictive these bastards are.
Let me tell you a story.
Way back several decades ago a group of officers that were pilots decided to write letters to the Air Force promotion board saying that they did not want to be promoted to major and because they were non-selected, it meant that they were going to be separated. Which is what they wanted, to go fly for the airlines.
The Air Force felt like that was a betrayal and the personnel center kept every single one of their names in a folder in the pilots assignment area known as the fighter’s porch. They worked diligently any time reserve officers were ever looked at to be recalled back to active duty to ensure not a single one of them was ever allowed back on active duty.
911 happens and there is a huge shortage of officers, many of these were in the Air Force Reserve or Air National Guard BUT the Air Force personnel center would not allow a single one of them to return to active duty in the middle of a war.
That is a very true story because I was involved in the middle of it at CENTCOM trying to work to fill wartime requirements for our HQ.
I met the guy in charge of that office a couple years later when I was assigned to the personnel center and he told me what was behind it all and showed me the list. The 2 guys we tried to recall were on the list. It’s way more fucked up than most realize.

Now, here’s where it gets worse. The person in charge of reinstating servicemembers’ records for DECIDING NOT TO GET VACCINATED under Trump’s Executive Order is Senior Executive Service member, Dr. Gerald Curry. And get this: he actually said, “I VIEW ANYONE WHO DECIDES NOT TO GET VACCINATED TO BE UNINFORMED OR UNINTELLIGENT.”
To make matters worse, thanks to
@Jim__Buckley’s research, we found that Dr. Curry proudly displayed his SES pin while also openly stating reasons people should VOTE FOR BIDEN, which is a clear violation of ethical guidelines.
Meanwhile, when I was on active duty, I couldn’t help my wife campaign, even when I wasn’t in uniform. These unaccountable bureaucrats break the rules, post photos and written evidence of their misconduct online, and get rewarded with promotions. We have a serious problem when those who did the right thing are sidelined, while the ones who violated the rules are promoted. This Executive Order is only going to make matters worse. For the servicemembers who risked their careers and did the right thing, we have a solution. There are no signs that any consequential actions are being taken. This is exactly why we need COMCAP immediately. President Trump, SECDEF, if you’re serious about accountability, COMCAP is the way forward. We will fully support.
