This is not complicated. The problem is Christianity. For example, when the government gave churches tax exempt status it should have been refused on the basis of: the government not having any authority to tax churches in the first place. When churches accepted tax exemption they also accepted the status of a taxable entity. The word “church “ can only apply to a New Testament organization regardless of denomination. This also eliminates pseudo Christian cults that place something other than the New Testament as the final authority. There is no other doctrine than New Testament doctrine in determining what a church is and is not.
Agree…..this problem of ‘Christianity’ has been what is it since Jesus was born……especially since the first Mass…..aka “The last Supper”…..we all know the only way into heaven is Jesus…..so let’s see what happens next…..
