Would you like to see “leverage” applied to the democrats over the federal government shutdown?
The SNAP Program is about to take center stage.
“The White House is warning 42 million low-income Americans will start to miss SNAP benefits Saturday if Democrats don’t vote for the funding stopgap this week.”
“Speaker Mike Johnson is siding with the Trump administration’s decision not to tap emergency funds to avert a lapse in food aid for 42 million Americans.”
I believe one of two things will happen.
Either the democrats will cave and vote for the clean CR to avoid getting the blame or Trump will use money from another program that is a slush fund for subsidizing blue states.
The democrat states have been laundering federal taxpayers dollars to subsidize their government unions for a long time.
My wish, is that Trump wouldn’t just take money from one program and add it to the SNAP program.
I hope Trump instead, makes these recipients of SNAP apply for it again through a different fund in order to eliminate fraud.
Bring on DOGE!
The democrats don’t care that a lot of people aren’t going to get their SNAP benefits. They want all of those people to be angry and they are hoping to turn that anger against Trump.
But nothing ever works out the way they planned.

Can I kick Rand Paul one more time for good measure?
Here’s a quote from my recent post on Rand:
“Senator Rand Paul has again slammed President Donald Trump over his military operations off Venezuela, which has killed 27 people after at least half a dozen alleged drug smuggling boats have been blown out of the water by US drones.”
“The Kentucky lawmaker has also recently asserted on social media that “it’s imperative that we make it clear that war powers reside with Congress, not the president.”
Paul has recently joined Democratic Sen. Tim Kaine in seeking to force a vote which would stop Trump from unilaterally declaring war on Venezuela.”
Rand Paul has proudly joined with the democrats, to try and prevent Trump from waging war against Venezuela. Here’s who Rand Paul and the democrats are defending:
“VENEZUELAN tyrant Nicolas Maduro is not merely complicit in organised crime — he leads it. From generals to judges, the very top of Venezuela’s political and military elite are deeply embedded in a powerful, sprawling cocaine trafficking network, experts say.”
“Cartel de los Soles, translated as Cartel of The Suns, isn’t a cartel in the traditional sense. It’s a web of Venezuelan military, intelligence and political elites accused of taxing, protecting and moving cocaine with state resources. With parts of Maduro’s government deeply enmeshed in the drug trade, the lines between state power and organised crime have been blurred.”
The Maduro regime “is” the drug cartel that is importing drugs into the U.S. to kill Americans. It is a “narco-state.”
“Dr César Alvarez, from Charles Sturt University, told The Sun:
“Without a doubt, the leader of Cartel de los Soles is Nicolás Maduro.
“The involvement of the highest-ranking members of his military has been clearly demonstrated that not only government officials, but all the leaders from other criminal groups, not only in Venezuela but in Colombia, have been clearly established.”
Maduro’s military isn’t just assisting in the operation, they are controlling it.
Trump is killing these drug traffickers and promises to kill more of them to protect the American people.
What does Rand Paul want to do about the Venezuelan drug traffickers?
“He further emphasized that “interdicting drugs has always been an anti crime activity where we don’t just summarily execute people, we actually present evidence and convict them.”
Rand Paul thinks we should treat Maduro and his military drug traffickers like everyday drug traffickers and arrest them and give them trials. I bet Rand hopes you have forgotten about this important piece of information.
“US prosecutors first indicted Maduro in 2020 on narco-terrorism charges, accusing him and senior officials of conspiring with Colombia’s FARC guerrillas to “flood” the United States with cocaine.
The case alleges Venezuela’s state institutions — from the military and intelligence services to the judiciary — were weaponised to enable multi-ton shipments and shield traffickers from prosecution.”

How many Americans have died over the last five years because Venezuela was allowed to traffic drugs into the U.S.?
Prosecutors indicted Maduro and many of his officials back in 2020. Did that stop Maduro from trafficking deadly drugs into America. Answer: No.
It actually got much worse under the Biden administration, as he allowed an invasion on our southern border by drug trafficking illegals like Tren de Aragua, from Venezuela.
Did you ever hear Rand Paul complain about that?
Do you remember Rand Paul stepping up and fighting Biden like he’s fighting Trump?
An indictment is meaningless for the leader of a “narco-state” without our military doing something about it.
While Trump wages a real “war on drugs” to save American lives, Rand Paul seeks to tie his hands in that effort, by siding with the democrats and drug traffickers.
Enemy within.
Rand Paul is part of the insurgency that Trump is fighting against.
