This is obviously false. Anyone who has read the Bible knows this.
Although some RC leaders say that it’s impossible that the ‘men of God’ could have laid with the daughters of men because angelic beings are (only) spirit beings and not physical, we know by simply reading the many incidents In both the old and new testaments that angels indeed often did/do take on physical form and can appear as regular humans or as massive angelic beings in physical form.
Well I guess all truth will be revealed when God chooses to reveal it to those who are saved…..there was a reason for the ark and the great flood…..also with Noah and his family being the only ones spared…..there’s a reason why the book of Enoch is not included in the bible…..how much is true? No one really knows……very interesting for sure……
Johnny Enlow has done extensive studies of the book. He noted Jesus quoted the book of Enoch. Remember our Bible is based off “the King James Version”. Editing was done……I am reading the Book of Enoch now and have ordered Johnny’s study on it. In truth, I simply don’t think we KNOW that the KJV is “complete” or not…….
Yes, right……have to smile when I think we can “know” everything that God is saying…..yeah, I do know we humans ‘think’ we know…..as a RC I use the ‘our’ bible….I am presently reading an excellent book, good for all to read not just RC, about who wrote the bible and when…as well as all the languages involved and the years written over those early ages….it is very interesting…..I have given it to a few of my very bible knowledgeable friends to read…..a Methodist, a practicing Jew, an evangelical, and a non-denominational fallen away Catholic….a pretty good cross section of folks…which is common to find in a 55+ gated community such as mine here in Fla…..so I get alot of interesting feedback you might say which I love…..ordered several copies from Amazon…….”The Bible is a Catholic Book” by Jimmy Akin…….it would make a very interesting book to use in Bible Study….which is what I suggested….waiting to see where that suggestion goes……:)

I hope they take her up on the suggestion. I grew up a lone Protestant in a community of Catholics….loved attending masses with them…but was always puzzled by the lack of Biblical knowledge ….so the “Bible is a Catholic book” gave me a chuckle
I also grew up Catholic, attended Catholic schools taught by nuns. Never opened a Bible the entire time. Why? We were taught the gospels via the “Baltimore Catechism” and the Missal, a liturgical book used by Catholics during Mass that contains all the prayers, readings, and instructions for the celebration of the Eucharist throughout the year.
The Bible is still central to Catholicism, and—the readings during Mass are taken directly from Scripture—but the Missal organizes those readings along with the priest’s prayers and responses for each specific day. It wasn’t until I was an adult that I owned and read the Bible.
You said it better than I could Andrea….growing up Catholic I STILL have my catechism and my missals…a couple of my non-Catholic friends who have attended Mass with me were very surprised to hear so much of the bible used during mass….the Mass is based on the bible…..so we’re entering very interesting “awake” times …so much to learn and observe….no time to not get involved, wish I was younger ….I hear that way too often with some I interact with who know NOTHING of what is happening here and the world and why……have to restrain myself at times….I don’t do
“willfully ignorant” very well anymore since in my mind I’m using a different word……it’s so easy in these 55+ communities to stay dumb and happy and just do the fun stuff all day long every day in your “bubble”…..in my mind that’s a life wasted….oh well, I’ll leave it at that…..

If you really want to have some fun….sponsor a Biblical Citizenship course ……. Say through one with 30+ people close to my age……8 weeks of “did you know that? Show me that again…replay that…..” Every one of us walked out with a much clearer understanding of our founding, our founders and what “occupy until I return REALLY means
Great idea……when the COVID scam broke in tandem with DJT’s election….and most of us regularly getting put in FB jail and threatened and banned from Twitter we started a private message group page just for our community residents who were MAGA leaning or totally devoted…..this has been a salvation for us to vent and share everything we found to others….it really saved us (+ our frustration & sanity) plus the networking really opened up so many new avenues for us to find the facts…..this suggestion sounds like something right up our alley….we STILL have so many sleepers in our midst…..devoted Liberals who probably will never awaken….so I’ll throw this out there for consideration….thanks!!!
Have you seen Monumental by Kirk Cameron? I bought the movie and the knowledge manual……absolutely eye-opening….then did Patriot Academy Biblical Citizenship and am now getting to host Constitution Alive. Eye opening…..even at my age ….what we were not taught …….and its gone downhill since

It is indeed! What a time to be alive! Praying WE witness the return to the Covenant our forefathers made with God upon landing on what would become this nation.
And what a blessing those personal readings are! I married Catholic…..he neither owned a Bible nor read it……and only attended mass on Holy Days …… said he did his best thinking at mass…..because it was so “rote”. I know that many Catholics are not like that ….. but he said he, like ny friends, were encouraged to listen to the priest and not search for themselves…..

YEAH Andrea…..it does get a bit lively, as lively as a bible study can get I would imagine….but the discussion always stays respectful…..you will not be surprised to hear we have more in common than not….we RC were NOT encouraged to read the bible back when…that’s ALL changed now…our pastors all push for bible apps on our phones now and hold bible study weekly…LOL…..in all my years of a RC education I do not ever remember talking much about the bible….even with my overly strict VERY Catholic parents…..I’ve learned more since our move here to FLA 14 yrs ago than all my years up in NE….. have to add about the major differences we have discussed so far w/RC doctrine……veneration of the Virgin Mary, Saints, Purgatory, and of course transubstantiation…..that’s the biggy for me and all conservative Catholics since that’s the main reason why I am what I am and will remain that…….have a Blessed day 🙂

I also have read the Book of Enoch abbreviated version by Trey Smith……I do enjoy listening to Johnny as well as several others….Robin Bullock, Lance Wallnau for just a couple…..keeping an open mind is #1…….

@The Kamikazewoman…….. 🙂 your hubby sounds like mine……Holy Days ‘sometimes’ and Sunday Mass…….I do many above and beyond things like retreats and our Adoration Chapel as many times a week as I can……would do daily Mass as well if I could…..as we get alot older we all realize just how important staying close to God is….and least I pray that we do…..I feel SO blessed to be chosen to live in these “bible come to life times”…….it is truly a BLESSED time to be alive!! There are reasons the Book of Enoch isn’t included, but it’s possible they’re not necessarily ‘good’ reasons. And it’s the Western bibles primarily it’s not included. The Ethiopian Orthodox Church includes it. I read that Eastern Orthodoxy (greek/russian) don’t include it either.
It’s odd that it’s not included because Enoch is lauded in Genesis; and he’s mentioned in the New Testament. The theory I’ve read is that the Western Church powers decided to exclude it because it/they (the powers/deciders) didn’t want people to achieve or maintain an awareness of the past or ongoing existence of spirit beings; of the ongoing presence of Angels and demons, of giants past and possible still. I, personally, although I don’t dismiss it, I chose to not focus on these things. It’s enough to try maintaining keeping my eyes on the Savior. Got enough on my life’s plate without the distraction and fascination of giants and angels fallen and upright.

Hammer just “hit nail on the head”……LOL…perfect way to say it……info overload happened a long time ago for many of us…..now that we’re so many years (decades) into this it seems the info overload is getting heavier and faster……so I’m, as you said Pony, keeping my eyes on the ball (in this case Jesus) and a little less on all the other stuff….God’s got this and has told us not to worry…..so I trying not to….
“God’s got this….” Yes, as long as we all agree (pray …. When two or more) and OCCUPY. The easy part is the praying……..it’s the OCCUPY where my generation and others have failed. Occupy until I come ….. is not passive ….. it’s action oriented ….. take ground and take control. Trump is trying…..but WeThePeople must occupy …… not watch. Do all you can do, THEN God….. I firmly believe God has granted us a window……it’s up to us what we ask for and occupy during this time. Not intended to be a lecture, but a call to action…….. I, for one, am late to the party….when my son came home in jr high and said…mom, the history were taught is not what you learned…..there was a call to action that I ignored. Now, with a grandson…..I can’t ignore it if I want him to experience America as God intended……NEVER thought I’d be calling representatives, meeting with them, working elections……but here I am………
Yes….we’re all working hard on similar efforts….proud to be a digital warrior as well…..can’t imagine how much spare time I’ll have when we get through this battle…..hope to live long enough to see the end of this and enjoy a bit of what God has promised us….if not here on earth then with Him in eternity….which btw is the MUCH better deal……..:)

I’ve been a Christian all my life. There may have been times where I strayed.
This was my first exposure to the Book of Enoch. It was an excellent presentation and graphics without explicit, graphic gore, perfect for the younger generations who may be more acceptable to the messages and format.
How many books in the Bible have embellishments or exaggerations to get a critical message across?
Anyone who was there around to prove different? Anyone?
My takeaway… the evil, wicked sinners will meet their judgement. Amen.
