Thank you. always good to have choices for E book reading/borrowing.
Recently I found something that confirms what I always suspected to be true: that reading from real paper books results in a significantly higher memory retention. There is something about being able to jump back and forth over large swaths fo text quickly, as well as knowing generally where in a book something is (e.g., about 1/4 in, left-hand-side near the top, etc.).
Plus, with real books it is harder for some assclown to change the contents and then try to convince you that your memory is wrong (which I think is the true nefarious purpose of the so-called “Mandela Effect”).
