Kicked off the day on this beautiful wam and sunny Saturday of Easter weekend with a rally on the capitol steps in Little Rock, AK. You’ll see by these photos that it was a friendly, America-loving crowd– the same type as seen at every other stop we’ve made in the week since beginning this tour in Searchlight, NV last Saturday.
I just want to say that the characterization of tea parties made by Rep. Steve Cohen couldn’t be more wrong. Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit posted about it earlier today:
Awful lib Rep. Steve Cohen compared tea party protesters to the KKK in an interview this week. Of course, he has nothing to back up these hateful accusations but it’s not like the media is going to correct him. We all know that won’t happen.
News Alert reported:Rep. Steve Cohen:
“The tea party people are kind of without robes and hoods. They have really shown a very hardcore angry side of America that is against any type of diversity. We saw opposition to African-Americans, hostility towards gays, hostility towards anyone who, you know, just wasn’t a clone of George Wallace’s fan club.”
Do you suppose Cohen will apologize now that Rep. Cleaver admitted the spitting story was all made up?
Here’s the video…
Compare that with these photos of Little Rockers demonstrating peacefully on the capitol steps:
Enough said???

Snapped a self portrait in the gorgeous gold doors of the Arkansas State Capitol building.

Love reading about my state, but Arkansas is AR, not AK! Thanks for showing us nice folks assembling peacefully!
A beautiful day and BEAUTIFUL people, I love seeing American Patriots getting out and getting in the face of their poltico’s! I mostly enjoy the FACT that they are not going to “forget” and that the TEA Party Movement is going strong one year later and November is coming on FAST…LOL!
“It was a friendly, America loving crowd..”
Maybe, but those flags flying right beside Old Glory look like some kind of racist or white supremicist flags or something. Let me get in touch with Chuckles Johnson at LGF and I’ll get back to you.
/sarcasm off
Wish I could have been there. It truly looks like a good time. See ya soon, though.
Love seeing fellow Americans fed up with the FedGov gathering together. Just hoping to be able to attend the one in Davenport, IA on the 6th. Need to find a ride since my car wouldn’t make it there & back in time. (sigh)
