Ending Christmas 2020 with this…

And if it were not for the perfect wind

And the perfect fog

And the perfect timing

And a thousand other things that had to be perfect, we would not be a country.

Perfect cover fog.

Perfect wind.

Divine Providence.

Listen to Patrick K. O’Donnell, author of VALOR: America at War on Christmas, tell about Washington’s crossing of the Delaware River on Christmas night during a raging nor’easter. Were it not for men like Washington and the patriots who fought and endured hardships to gain for themselves and posterity the liberty and freedom we are guaranteed under our Constitution, we would not be free men today. And now it is our turn to fight off the tyrants in the Second American Revolution. Pray that we are as brave and courageous as our forebears.
