From Lin Wood:

Did we learn from the history of the Russian multi-year, unsuccessful war in Afghanistan?

If we studied that history, we should never have fought in Afghanistan. Fighting the people of Afghanistan on their terrain was a war we, like the Russians, could not win.

So why did we fight in Afghanistan for so many years knowing that history taught us that we could not win?

How much money and power did the military-industrial complex gain from those years in Afghanistan fighting a war we could not win?

The love of money is the root of all evil. Follow the money to find the evil.

Some closing thoughts on today’s discussion of history.

Stay with me.

How many of our American warriors, young and old, male and female, shed their blood and died in Vietnam and Afghanistan fighting a war that the generals and leaders of our government knew from history we could not win? Wars fought for money.

One would be too many. One too many is always one too many.

President Trump did not engage our military in any new wars, certainly not wars we could not win. He wanted our troops out of Afghanistan.

President Trump would have removed our military presence in an orderly, measured process that would not have resulted in the chaos and death occurring in Afghanistan at the present time under the Fake Biden Regime.

But it is what it is. The United States needs to get our military out of Afghanistan. Let the Afghans run their country the way they wish to run it.

And let Americans focus on running our country the way we wish to run it by putting AMERICA FIRST.

Then we can Make America Great Again.

“In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the militaryindustrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.”

– President Dwight D. Eisenhower, 1961
