So, we are supposed to believe reports from “unnamed sources” about in-flight emergencies that go unreported? Every news agency in every big city is monitoring police/fire/ems frequencies 24/7 in order to get TV and radio fodder for the drooling masses. If a pilot declares a medical emergency in-flight, you can bet that EMS is going to be requested and information will be present on the scanners. TV crews will rush to watch the plane land and be met by emergency personnel in order to be able to stream it live (in hopes of getting an Emmy). I don’t buy it.
