God wins. That is a fact. To which I say, So what? God was always going to win. In fact, God knows the end before things ever begin. God winning is not the issue. The issue is how do we win? The apostle Paul’s major concern was that he, “…may win Christ.” (Philippians 3:8b).
Reading the end of the Book is no guarantee that anyone will end up being a blessing and not a major failure. Being a saved man puts you in a position to have the Spirit of God manifest Christ in your mortal flesh by having you do something only Jesus could do. Like what? Obey God for one thing. Christianity is not a stoic, gritting of the teeth, and doing all you can do in a way that agrees with your understanding of what constitutes good works.
Paul said, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” -Philippians 4:13
Please note that the verse says, which strengtheneth me, not WHO strengtheneth me. All the “new” bibles change WHICH to WHO missing the fact that what you do through Christ strengthens you. Christ wants you STRONG. Just like Ephesians 6:10 said pertaining to the armor of God, “…be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” Not the armor of Christ. The armor of God. Words mean things and most of you people are reading the wrong words.

I understand what you’re saying. And I agree. “God wins” is a euphemism for something else – a reassurance of some kind, I think.
