Ok, time for a level-check.
It’s all about perspective, folks – as is ALWAYS the case.
Consider this:
✅ Twitter started with 140 users
✅ Facebook started when 1,200-1,500 students signed up for the site within its first 24 hrs
Historically, social media platforms have evolved along with their relative popularity (or lack thereof). When this type of organic growth is encountered it’s much easier for the tech to mature alongside the ⬆️ in the user base. Just consider how much those 2 platforms have evolved/changed over time. That didn’t happen overnight.
Truth Social is a different beast entirely.
We are witnessing the first time a social media platform has launched with this level of anticipation. 10’s of millions of people worldwide are at the front-gate trying desperately to get in. And because of measures being taken to verify people + YIUGE demand, we see the entirely predictable traffic-jam occurring.
Give ’em a break.
Everything will work itself out.
