Seymour Hersh: FBI Knew Seth Rich was Wikileaks DNC Source, Not Russia

This is another report that George Webb revealed, telling us that when Seth Rich was brought to the MedStar Hospital in DC, he was treated by a physician — Dr. Ali al-Attar. More on who he is and whose orders he was following in my reports in the days ahead.

The following is from a piece published in Truth and Action.

An audio recording surfaced this week of Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter Seymour Hersh, who claims that Seth Rich was the source of DNC emails for Wikileaks.

The seven-minute tape also reveals Hersh’s belief that the Trump-Russia collusion story was invented by the intelligence community to help defeat Donald Trump in last year’s election and discredit him in the event he might win.

The recording does not identify who’s speaking on it, but based on corroborating information, it clearly appears to be Hersh, because of its contents and the fact it was leaked by Wikileaks.

Because timing is everything, the posting of the recording all over the Internet certainly puts Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation in a very awkward position.   Given this revelation, looking into Russian interference in the U.S. election would seem a pointless exercise. Its continuation would only bolster President Trump’s claim that it’s a “witch hunt.”

Find out what Hersh had to say regarding the Seth Rich situation and murder, as well as his take on the individuals who created the Russia collusion story to destroy Donald Trump.

According to Hersh, he was read the contents of an FBI report by a very high-level person. Among the revelations in his comments is that Rich contacted Wikileaks about the DNC emails and requested payment for them.

On the recording, Hersh reveals that the District of Columbia police were unable to open Rich’s computer so they asked the FBI’s cyber unit to assist with getting access to it.

[The DC police took Seth Rich’s computer, but couldn’t get past his password.] So they call the FBI cyber unit. The Feds get through [the password-protection on Rich’s computer], and this is what they find. This is according to the FBI report.”

From there, Hersh said the computer contents show that Rich had successfully made contact with Wikileaks.

What the report says is that – some time in late spring or early summer – he [Rich] makes contact with WikiLeaks. That’s in his computer.  They [the FBI] found what he [Rich] had done was he had submitted a series of documents – of emails, of juicy emails – from the DNC.”

Hersh said Rich provided sample emails to wet Wikileaks’ appetite for the full set of information and demanded payment in order to provide a password for access.

He [Rich] offered a sample, an extensive sample, I’m sure dozens of emails, and said I want money. [Remember, WikiLeaks often pays whistleblowers.] Later, WikiLeaks did get the password. He [Rich] had a dropbox, a protected dropbox, which isn’t hard to do. They got access to the dropbox. That’s in the FBI report.”

In another stunning revelation, Hersh claims Rich told friends about what he’d done and provided the password to the dropbox in case anything would happen to him. So apparently, Rich was worried about being found out by the DNC and facing some sort of retribution.

However, Hersh indicated he believes the D.C. police claim that the murder was a robbery gone bad.

Wikileaks got access to the dropbox before Rich was killed, but after his death the flow of emails stopped, which clearly indicates Rich was the source of the information, not Russian hackers.

Private investigator Rod Wheeler had been hired by the Rich family to look into their son’s death and he seemingly believed what Hersh has outlined. But he recently changed directions and filed a lawsuit against Fox News regarding reports it had made about him.

His lawsuit describes a conversation between Hersh and financier Ed Butowsky, who originally helped to hire Wheeler, but then became a target of the lawsuit.

The conversation quoted by Wheeler is identical to what is on the released audio, thus confirming Hersh’s identity as the speaker:

I have somebody on the inside who will go and read a file for me. And I know this person is unbelievably accurate and careful. He’s a very high level guy.”

The other bombshell claim by Hersh is that the Russia collusion story was a total invention by then CIA-director John Brennan, former director of national intelligence James Clapper and current director of the National Security Agency Mike Rogers. He accuses them of “peddling false information” and misleading President Barack Obama.

He attributed their treachery to wanting to keep their jobs in a Hillary Clinton administration and trashed the news media for swallowing their lies.

I worked at the New York Times for years and they have smart guys but they are totally beholden on sources. If the president or the head of the (unintelligible) tells them something they actually believe it,” he said. “These guys [highly-placed sources] run the f—ing Times.”

He added, “Trump’s not wrong to think they all f—ing lied about him.”

Hersh has been on record since President Trump was inaugurated that the Russia collusion story was a hoax and the media behave outrageously for believing and promoting it.
