Zelenskyy visits Congress

by Seth Keshel (“Capt. K”)

Drama queen and political actor Volodymyr Zelenskyy, president of Ukraine, disgraced the people of the United States with his visit to Congress two days ago.  He was widely celebrated as some sort of world savior by the sellouts, both elected and selected, seated in some of the highest offices in America.  He made the case for Ukraine in their war against Russia and did so with hardly a scent of gratitude for the peoples’ money being wasted on Ukraine.

THE SIZZLE – The veteran in me is disgusted that so many mindless leftists and bureaucrats who have never heard a shot fired in anger are so willing to commit American troops to defend a nation with no strategic interest or legitimate defense purpose.  As if two world wars on the European continent were not enough, now western politicians are looking for a third.  Zelenskyy’s presence in Congress and the grotesque celebration of a foreign flag is enough to gag a maggot, especially when it is known that Ukraine is a safe harbor for some of the worst things the deep state has to offer.

Who needs Democrats?

The $1.7 trillion spending bill, also known as the “omnibus,” which must be passed to avoid a government shutdown (as if that would hurt any American who doesn’t depend on the federal government to make a living) was passed yesterday in the U.S. Senate, and could not have been passed without the support of the “Vichy” Republican caucus of swamp critters who continued to kick the proverbial can down the road at the expenses of the American taxpayer.  Here are the Senate Republicans who voted “aye”:

Blunt (MO)
Boozman (AR)

Capito (WV)
Collins (ME)

Cornyn (TX)

Cotton (AR)

Graham (SC)

Inhofe (OK)

McConnell (KY)

Moran (KS)

Murkowski (AK)

Portman (OH)

Romney (UT)

Rounds (SD)

Shelby (AL)

Thune (SD)

Wicker (MS)

Young (IN)

THE SIZZLE – This bill not only funds political pet projects, which reward donors and prop up failed politicians, but also grants another $45 billion in economic and military aid to Ukraine, the social justice movement’s cesspool of choice.  Americans are told to accept it and not hinder the “critical” work of the federal government, or to expect any of their elected officials to reign in such reckless spending that is heaped upon the backs of U.S. taxpayers.

This raises the all-too-critical question: With Republicans like this, who needs Democrats?
