- Several of the largest asset managers in the U.S. are withdrawing from a major coalition of companies focused on advancing green investment strategies and climate-sensitive corporate management.
- JPMorgan Asset Management (JMAM) and State Street Global Advisors will not be renewing membership in Climate Action 100+, a coalition of investors and asset managers with a combined $68 trillion under management that pushes corporations to reduce emissions and adopt climate risk disclosure practices, according to Financial Times. Climate Action 100+ and Ceres — a green shareholder activist group that co-founded the coalition — are currently under investigation by the House Judiciary Committee, which is alleging that the coalition’s advancement of progressive Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) policies may constitute non-competitive activity in violation of U.S. antitrust law.

As a check on China’s monopoly and unfair trade relationship with the United States, the Phase One China trade deal was another great deal that Trump delivered to the American people. As part of the agreement, China committed to buying $200 billion in US goods and services over a two-year period, starting from January 1, 2020, until December 31, 2021.
This would have decreased the US’s trade deficit with China by 54%, making it historic. Unfortunately, due to President Joe Biden’s weakness and refusal to honor the Phase One trade deal of his predecessor, China failed to purchase the remaining 49% of what they had pledged to purchase
Even with all the great trade deals and stock market performances, MAGAnomics’ crowning achievement was making the United States energy independent through the opening of federal leases to oil and gas corporations, which encouraged greater drilling and fracking. Under Bush, Obama, and Biden, the average gas price was $3.30, $3.68, and $4.06 during their respective tenure. In contrast, with an average gas price of $2.81 per gallon, Trump’s presidency had the lowest gas prices of all three presidents.

House investigators probing whether Joe Biden used bank account to take money from grandkids
- House impeachment investigators have identified a newly discovered bank account and are probing a suggestion from a witness that the account may have been used to route money to President Joe Biden from his grandchildren,

House Impeaches Mayorkas, First Cabinet Member Impeached in Nearly 150 Years
- Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was impeached by the House Tuesday night in a narrow 214 to 213 vote, becoming the first cabinet official to be impeached in almost a century and a half.
- William Belknap, Secretary of War to President Ulysses S. Grant, was impeached by the House in 1876, despite resigning before the vote.
