Lou Dobbs’ meme is spot on with regard to SOTH Mike Johnson…. It’s really no different than Paul Ryan. In case you haven’t heard, the abhorrent $1.2 trillion Omnibus spending bill full of left-wing garbage passed the House with 101 Republicans voting for it. Johnson might as well be Hakeem Jefferies with the garbage that was in it, including full funding of abortion up until full term, funding DEI, transgender nursing homes, etc., and what wasn’t in it – no border enforcement, no spending constraints.
Majorie Taylor Greene put forth a motion to vacate Johnson, but I would have to say it would be really BAD timing to do that now – very destabilizing and demonstrating an inability to govern, with just months to go before the election. And adds risk of making Hakeem Jeffries speaker.

i agree, but have an odd feeling there is something more going on. It makes no sense that Johnson would cave on this. It’s almost like losing the house is part of the plan. Yes, but it’s not so much what the D’s can stop the Republicans from passing… I think the main things that a GOP controlled House does is provide an emergency backstop on some crazy radical thing that they would try to put through. … like amnesty for all illegals or something.
Think of it… Unfettered control months before an election. Make all the migrants and illegals legal, and have them vote in the election.
Granted the Republicans don’t always vote as a block, but for something crazy they might get on board. Although that omnibus monstrosity was pretty crazy.

U.S. District Court Judge Aileen Cannon on Friday, largely approved special counsel Jack Smith’s request to limit access to certain sensitive materials to Donald Trump’s attorneys, per The Hill. The Classified Information Procedures Act allows prosecutors to redact or summarize portions of classified discovery, before turning it over to a defendant. Cannon approved the request but held off on making a decision on some other documents at issue. She said that ‘no classified information not already agreed upon to be released by Smith will be disseminated.’ 🤔 Note: This doesn’t seem like that big of a win for Smith. 👊
Former RNC Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel is jo*ining NBC News as a contributor, and provide commentary on MSNBC, per Axios. McDaniel is scheduled to appear on Sunday’s “Meet the Press” with Kristen Welker, to give her first interview since leaving the RNC. Federal Judge Amy Berman Jackson on Thursday, dismissed a challenge to a Washington D.C. law that allows non citizens to vote in local elections. The law allows illegal immigrants and staff of foreign embassies, if they have resided in D.C. for at least 30 days. A group of Republicans, represented by the Immigration Reform Law Institute, filed the lawsuit, alleging the sudden influx of newly eligible voters “will dilute” the votes of U.S. citizens. The judge said the plaintiffs did not show how non-citizen voters have harmed them. 😵💫😡
A large group of illegal immigrants rushed the border wall on Thursday, in El Paso, TX, breaking through the razor wire and knocking down guardsmen, per the NY Post, who had taken a video of the incident. They also had witnessed earlier, about 600 illegals amassed at the international border. A Texas police source told Fox News that the group consisted of about 300 illegals, and one arrest has been made for assaulting a soldier so far. Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd also told Fox News that agents are going through video footage to determine who else assaulted guard members. 😡🙏
