FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino reportedly clashed with Attorney Genral Pam Bondi over the handling of the files related to Jeffrey Epstein. This comes after the DOJ concluded in a memo that there was no infamous “client list” for Epstein and that he did not blackmail elite individuals.
First reported by Laura Loomer, sources familiar with the matter told her that Bongino took the day off from work in frustration with Bondi after clashing with the AG over the handling of the files. Loomer then added, “I’m told Kash and Bongino are furious with Bondi and the blowback she has caused them with her lack of transparency.”
The incident, later reported on by Axios, led some people around the situation to believe he has quit his job, but he is still officially in his role.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche weighed in on the reported incident, writing in a statement on X, “I worked closely with Kash Patel and Dan Bongino on the joint FBI and DOJ memo regarding the Epstein Files. All of us signed off on the contents of the memo and the conclusions stated in the memo. The suggestion by anyone that there was any daylight between the FBI and DOJ leadership on this memo’s composition and release is patently false.”
The memo released by the DOJ stated the disgraced financier killed himself in his prison cell in 2019 despite the many theories surrounding his death, and that there was no incriminating client list.
It stated that video taken from camera around his jail cell supported the ruling of his death being a suicide. “The FBI enhanced the relevant footage by increasing its contrast, balancing the color, and improving its sharpness for greater clarity and viewability,” the memo stated.
The DOJ found “no incriminating ‘client list'” of Epstein’s, “no credible evidence … that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals,” as well as no “evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties.”
Sounds like more blah blah blah by DOJ. Kash nd Dan do the walk. Bondi does all the talk…and it’s not good for anyone. She is eroding trust on a fast track , regardless of whether Epstein stuff is true or false. That’s the point.
I’m holding back on any opinion about what’s going on. I admit I’m fascinated to watch it play out. There are all kinds of theories about “the Fumble” and I have mine too, but I’m willing to wait to see how it turns out.
As Trump is wont to say, “Lets see what happens.”
Me too, waiting to see how this unusual theatre plays out.
Some decades ago many of us awoke to the realization that the media will invent stories, or run with whatever juicy story they’re given and typically by the left.
Now I think the stories are created by the Right and fed to the media. 5D chess in this dangerous civil war.
That – or ‘stick a fork in it, we’re done’.
In theory I believe the “memo” is accurate. Epstein didn’t “himself” blackmail anyone. He didn’t create the massive honey-pot scheme. He was the facilitator of the deeds perpetrated by a much larger, sophisticated enterprise. Of which there are probably dozens of other Epsteins being set up as we speak. They are the target. The perpetrators love the focus on Epstein, not them.
That said, the handling of the entire situation is so bad one wonders if it is deliberate.
There are flight manifests to/from “Epstein” island…and to/from New Mexico…there are probably people being “protected” ?…and if there is nothing to see here, why is Ghislaine Maxwell in prison–a major “Mossad? player” in this whole debacle…I’m waiting it out too, but I think there’s LOTS more here that we’ll be shocked to learn.
