It is true white people were not alone in the commerce of slavery.
But it’s total BS and a modern historical revision that the British ended slavery in the world.

Modern historical revision is trying to claim the British abolished the slave trade in 1807. If they had, Wilberforce wouldn’t have fought another 26 years for the Abolition Act of 1833.
Meanwhile, American States began outlawing slavery as early as 1777. How many English shires or colonies banned slavery on their own initiative? Zero. Not one. That’s precisely why America declared independence, to break free from British mandates that enforced and profited from the slave trade.
And let’s get the dates straight: America passed the Act Prohibiting Importation of Slaves in the exact same year, 1807 as Britain’s Slave Trade Act.
But here’s the catch- The Slave trade Act abolished the transatlantic slave trade in the British Empire, but did not abolish slavery itself, that didn’t happen until the Slavery Abolition Act of 1833.
So why are the revisionists pushing this new narrative?
Whites were far from being the major party. A French explorer went to Timbuctoo and found blacks were being sold by other blacks and Muslims.
