I cried while reading this for my nephew Charlie Donahoe a two tour veteran of the Iraq war who honorably served his country.
Who is facing this same thing as a January 6 defendant who like this person has never been arrested, and whose family has already suffered so much .
A plea deal or more cruel, and unusual punishment that has already forced January 6 defendants to suicide.
God help us all.
We used to be the country that offered political asylum to people who were politically persecuted by communist regimes.
When did we become a communist regime that would choose to investigate, and run entrapment on those who honorably served his country simply to push the false communist narrative that somehow our veterans are the enemies of Americans?
Perhaps I should say God help them.
